  1. Whew! What a whirlwind this attractive lady is in her pristine kitchen! I started watching and was hooked. Now it is November 28 2020 and Christmas during pandemic is going to look mighty different. First, I'm staying "home alone" due to my age and not wishing to catch the virus. Most of my relatives are doing the same thing. We've come this far since March without infection so it would be daft to risk all meeting up. To your video, I love kielbasa! Although I'm English we have a lot of migrant workers from Eastern Europe who pick fruit and vegetables and work in food factories. Over the years Polish grocery shops have opened up locally (Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire) to serve these workers and since I love food from Poland, Germany, Lithuania and other countries in the region, I can get kielbasa, German-style Bockwurst, or even jars of chanterelles any time I like. Second, that filet seems very expensive, but should be fantastic. We eat turkey, goose or duck. The other component Americans never, it seems, cook at Christmas is roast potatoes. We roast great piles of potatoes and there are never any left the next day. Anyway, I hope it all turned out well. I'm not on Instagram so I'm just hoping you made a YouTube video as well!

  2. Great video! Hosting any kind of get-together during the holidays can be stressful. But this video shows how planning and making ahead can relieve stress. And less dish washing after is an added bonus. Thanks for sharing.

  3. I went to Costco yesterday (dec 23rd) and the Costco here is in one of our mall areas. Traffic was absolutely horrible. Took me forever to get there and even to leave the parking lot.

  4. From a mom of a daughter with Celiac…your comment about paying attention to food allergies, special diets, and cross contamination is much appreciated! It can be stressful because I don't want my daughter to be left out, or eat something that is "gluten free" but cross contaminated. Thanks for paying special attention. Merry Christmas!

  5. Wow! My family is polish too so we do the whole wigilia thing! I'm definitely not a fan of keiłbasa either though lol, or red meat/sausage in general, so i don't blame you haha

  6. Loved your video!! Hope your party/dinner goes off without a hitch tomorrow! Also, I'm with ya on making lists with good ol' pen and paper. I have a spiral notebook for all my lists – grocery lists, menu planning, my to-do list….you name it, I MUST write it down and make a list!

  7. Do you find the salads stay good long enough? I saw the one you got days best by Dec 20th I think… I always feel like I need to buy those the day before I use them or they will be rough looking but I’ve never tried that brand!

  8. Hi Becca! I know you said you kept Hayden’s first birthday party small, but would love a video on it if you are able! Curious what you did as my little girl turns 1 in February and I’m looking for ideas! Love your content! Merry Christmas!

  9. You should just film what everything is like for YouTube because I'm not on social media during the holidays. I like to be present in the moment with family, not on my phone. Like a part 2 to this video, a cute montage of how Christmas was would be a nice video.
