Yup, surprise surprise. Another job experience video. This time I’m going into…. Serving. Let’s just dive into it. Here’s my after shots of my first week of training.

One thing to keep in mind with serving at Olive Garden too is that it is not a 'turn and burn' style restaurant, like a Denny's where you're banking on a volume of tables, it really is based more on the value of each table, so always stay focused on upselling, but you can do it without being pushy or coming off as upselling even – I mainly just make sure to offer every possibel up-sale there is in a casual manner like hey I'm just covering all the bases here haha. Generally the bigger the check amount the higher the tip amount will be, but people tip based on all kinds of factors so I'm always polite, I'm fast, I think ahead about their needs, I make sure I remember to bring everything they ask for like extra dressing or whatever they might need. Generally if you work hard, you're nice and polite and outgoing, you'll do well.
