  1. You mentioned that Vimeo's terms of service prohibit the use of the Plus plan for paid membership sites. I'm not seeing that anywhere in their terms. Is this something that changed, or could you help me find that you were referring to? Thanks.

  2. Well a year later, it seems VooPlayer is now Spotlightr. For a while earlier in the year (2020) I started getting a lot of complaints from our clients watching our videos on VooPlayer. And stopped using VooPLayer, but those videos were still on there. Then I see a few months ago VooPlayer has changed to 'Spotlightr'. I don't know if its just me or others have noticed a improvement of playback of videos. It seems to be a LOT better. So, not sure it VooPlayer was sold to someone else that improved the streaming or what. No time for a deep dive. But happy with playback of late.

  3. Hi Adam, which one of them that allows external uploader that we can put on our WP site? I'm talking about creating an online course marketplace with LearnDash, and others can sign up and create their own courses. So when they click "upload" from their frontend dashboard, they basically uploading to this video hosting (not embedding from youtube, not from WP native media library). Or, how is the flow should be?

  4. Hi Adam, I want to start a video course. complete course will be approx 70GB (Approx 100 hr). If i make it a streaming course instead of downloadable and have about 2000 students enrolled, how much bandwidth i will need ? Course will take 3- months to complete for a student. Please Guide

  5. Open letter to Vimeo …
Gotta tell ya, in this moment, I think your company is lame.

I just get an account with you and upload a vid … and for the last 7 hours, the player doesn't work.

And it doesn't work I see on a friend's site either.

Been seeing this a lot on his site … your player blows basically.

"Not satisfied …" to put it mildly.

Even trying to send you people a message was a total pain in the ass.

Yeah, I know, covid slowed ya down …?

    End of rant/vent.
All we want to do is put a video (under 3 mins.) on our site or fbook, ytube, etc. that people can easily share. Help? I don't have much confidence in Vimeo right now.
