Hosting From Github

Hi Viewers,

This tutorial in someway eliminate dependency team/project admin to take up your locally developed files and paste them direlctly to your hosting platform FTP. With this strategy all code/file content being managed and reviewed will be automatically copied to the remote File space of yours. You get a Version control and a deploy automation with this.

FTP Deploy Github Action url :

Thankyou.

  1. Thank you for this tutorial was very helpful. I found it little confusing when you said we need to copy the main.yml file code from github , but then suddenly you provided modified version of the code without explaining it or mentioning it that you have modified it and why. I used your code but it did not work, I got error on line 13 'fetch-depth: 2'. I had to use the FTP Deploy original code, and it worked smoothly without any error. Not sure why your modified code did not work for me. Anyways thanks for this tutorial.

  2. Very nice Tutorial, it helped me alot. But how can i deploy my Files in a underdirection like htpdocs/underdirection without giving the ftpaccount only Access to the underdirection?
