  1. Short version:
    1. Download FileZilla (free version)
    2. Download Putty Key Generator
    3. Generate a Key
    4. Save private key
    4. Copy public key and add it to your Google Console Cloud Platform -> Compute Engine -> Metadata -> SSH Keys
    https://console.cloud.google.com/compute/metadata/sshKeys
    5. Open FileZilla. Edit -> Settings -> SFTP -> Add key file (browse for private key location) -> click Ok
    6. In FileZilla host sftp://your_Google_Console_Cloud_Platform_ip and Username write the "Key comment" it from the Putty Key Generator.
    7. Quck connect on the FileZilla

  2. hi please tell which folder or file has complete website backup that we shall require to upload on new hosting like bluehost etc. so we should download accordingly

  3. Strange, i cannot connect to SFTP – Error: Could not connect to server 🙁

    Error: Could not connect to server

  4. google drive doesnt have "compute engine" that I can find. Finally found it! Nothing in metadata. Have to setup some type of biling account. ID verification THEN Put money into it!
    SERIOUSLY … WHAT A ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!
