  1. Use my Referral Code to get $100 of credit for 60 days on Digital Ocean (VPS)!

Please consider using a paid VPS! Heroku is great for small apps with their free tier, however there are lots of limitations:
    1) You need a credit card in order to surpass the default 550 hours per month limit for your apps, which means if you don't have a verified payment method, once you've used up your 550 hours, your application will not go up until it's been reset.
    2) You can only have 2 add-ons, such as databases. WIth a VPS, you can install as many services/packages and run them in the background.
    3) You can SSH into your VPS from anywhere.

Please check out my Digital Ocean videos which I show you how to set up a Virtual Private Server:

  3. Hi Anson^^ This is a incredibly nice video! Here I have a question and hope you could help me in this case hahah. In fact, I would like to use Slappey to initiate my djs project, which will automatically creat a folder me. However, once I creat a new repository and wanted to connect this repository with the Slappey project I just created, Github showed “xxxx is not a empty folder”. Is there a solution for me to use Slappey and Github repository at the same time? Thanks in advance!

  5. ! The 'heroku/nodejs' buildpack is set on this application, but was

    ! unable to detect a Node.js codebase.

    !

! A Node.js app on Heroku requires a 'package.json' at the root of

    ! the directory structure.

    !

! If you are trying to deploy a Node.js application, ensure that this

! file is present at the top level directory. This directory has the

    ! following files:

! And here are some files…

  6. I have a bot setup that stores level and xp of a user in a file and it works from visual studio, but not from heroku…. Is there a way to save files on heroku using a script?
