Can you explain what happens when we use shopping cart codes such has fatfreecart, etc. I am leary about using software like this because I am not trying to link anyone to my shopping cart purchases. i am running a 64 bit machine and xampp just fine. You may need to be more specific about what doesn't work. If you are interested, I offer private training (online) and can help walk you through it. I learned all this from books and tutorials. I have a college degree for Graphic Design. Everything else, I learned on my own. I have been doing this for about 6 years (graphic design for over 10)

not really. It also depends on what type of memory you are asking about. Of course a better system will be a better server (or should be). However, if asking about storage and not RAM, then your hard drive space should match the type of content you are hosting. If you are planning to run a server to host a bunch of audio or video content then: Yes you need a lot of memory. However, if you are asking about RAM (or RAM and hard drive memory together) then my answer is: No. All depends on use
